Are all lights in stock in South Africa?
Most of the lights on our website are physically in stock in our South African warehouse and ship immediately.
A few models are offered on pre order. These are clearly marked with a “Pre order” button and an estimated arrival date on the product page. Everything else is in the country and ready to ship.
How does the pre order process work?
- You place your order and pay in full at checkout.
- The product page will show the estimated arrival date of the incoming shipment.
- As soon as the container lands and stock is checked in, we dispatch your light with priority shipping and send you tracking details.
Pre orders are the best way to secure high demand models before they sell out.
How long does delivery take?
For items in stock in South Africa:
Main city centres: usually 2 to 3 working days
Outlying and rural areas:Â 3 to 5 working days
Pre order items ship as soon as the shipment arrives in our warehouse.
Do you offer local collection?
If you prefer to collect, contact us before placing your order. In many cases we can arrange collection from our warehouse by prior appointment.
What warranty do Lucius lights have?
All Lucius grow lights bought from us include a 3 year local warranty against manufacturing defects.
What happens if my light fails?
Contact us with your order details, a short description of the problem and photos or video if possible.
Our tech team will help you test the unit. If it is a warranty issue we will repair or replace it as quickly as possible, using local stock wherever we can to minimise downtime.
Do you offer wholesale or commercial pricing?
Yes. We work with grow shops, commercial facilities and project installers.
If you are a retailer or setting up a larger facility, contact us with your requirements and we will put together a tailored quotation and ongoing supply plan.
Do you provide installation or setup support?
Yes. Every light ships with a basic installation guide and hanging kit. We also provide:
Recommended hanging heights and dimming levels for different stages
Help integrating controllers and daisy chain setups
Basic grow room layout advice for Lucius fixtures
If you need an installer for a large project, we can connect you with trusted partners.
Are Lucius lights certified and tested?
Lucius fixtures carry internationally recognised certifications such as CE, CB, ETL, DLC Horticulture, UKCA, RoHS and ISO 9001 quality management. Not every mark appears on every model, but all lights are built in an audited factory that follows these standards. Copies of certificates are available on request.
Are Lucius lights suitable for both veg and flower?
Yes. Lucius LED fixtures use a full spectrum designed for complete plant growth. You can run the same fixture from seedling or clone through vegetative growth and flowering. Some models include dimming or bar style layouts that let you fine tune intensity for each stage.
Do you keep spare parts in South Africa?
For popular models we keep core spares such as drivers and bars in South Africa or in our incoming shipments. If something fails under warranty we always try to repair or replace locally as quickly as possible, without you having to send anything overseas.
What is not covered by the 3 year warranty?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage from incorrect installation, water ingress, power surges, storms, physical impact, user modifications or misuse. If you are unsure, chat to us before installing so we can help you avoid any issues.
Do you work with social media influencers or content creators?
Yes. We are always interested in partnering with serious growers, content creators and reviewers. If you have an engaged audience and want to work with Lucius Lighting South Africa, email us or send us a DM with your channels, stats and collaboration ideas.
Do you accept cryptocurrency payments?
Yes, by prior arrangement. If you would like to pay with cryptocurrency, contact us before placing your order. We will confirm the Rand amount, provide wallet details and process your order once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
